Survey on handling of heavy rain risks

Welcome to the RAINMAN survey

Risks of heavy rain events are increasing all over Europe!

Heavy rain events can hit any location with only very short warning time. They cause massive damages, every year people die, thousands lose their homes, and environmental damages like water pollution occur.

With this survey, we want to assess,

  • your experiences with heavy rain in your region and
  • your wishes and demands to set-up or improve a heavy rain risk management in your region.

The survey is implemented within the project RAINMAN. The results will be the basis for the development of methods and tools for an effective heavy rain risk management. These will be made available in the RAINMAN-Toolbox.
